Wang Chung is an English new wave band, formed in London in 1980 by Nick Feldman, Jack Hues and Darren Costin. The name Wang Chung is Chinese (黃鐘, pinyin: huáng zhōng; Wade–Giles: huang chung), meaning "yellow bell" in English, and is the first note in the Chinese classical music scale.
La formazione storica era composta dal cantante Jack Hues e il bassista Nick Feldman assieme a Darren Costin (batteria) e Dave Burnand (sax). Nel 2016 Jack Hues ha abbandonato il gruppo ed è stato sostituito da Gareth Moulton, ex chitarrista del gruppo Cutting Crew.
Here We Are is the debut album of Heroes, released by Wang Chung drummer Darren Costin, Michael Casswell, Mike Marshall GB, Chuck Sabo, and Colin Baldry, on RCA Records. It was originally released in 1987 on LP, cassette, and Compact Disc. Heroes also released one single, "Driftaway", in addition to the band’s debut album.

Jack Hues, Nick Feldman (aka Nick De Spig), and Darren Costin (aka Darwin) re-grouped and started out again as a stripped-down three-piece unit named Huang Chung. The band recorded four live tracks for 101 Records, all of which appeared on a pair of compilation albums in 1980 and 1981.
