Nel 2019, subito prima dell'uscita dell'ottavo album Everyday Life, i Coldplay hanno dichiarato che non avrebbero intrapreso un tour finché non avessero potuto garantire la sostenibilità dei loro concerti, spingendoli a promuovere il disco tramite un'esibizione speciale nella Cittadella di Amman, in Giordania, trasmesso in live streaming su YouTube.
