Nel gennaio del 1615 venne data in sposa a Robert Sidney, II conte di Leicester, esponente di una delle famiglie inglesi più importanti del tempo. Il matrimonio portò un forte legame tra Sidney e Algernon Percy, X conte di Northumberland e influenzò le loro carriere politiche [2] .
Il 20 luglio 1639 sposò a Penshurst Place lady Dorothy Sidney, figlia di Robert Sidney, II conte di Leicester, la quale aveva precedentemente rifiutato la mano a Edmund Waller: fu un matrimonio felice, allietato dalla nascita di tre figli.
