Lenny è un film del 1974 diretto da Bob Fosse sulla vita del comico statunitense Lenny Bruce, interpretato da Dustin Hoffman, tratto da una pièce teatrale di Julian Barry, adattata per il cinema dallo stesso autore.
Leonard Albert Kravitz, detto Lenny (New York, 26 maggio 1964), è un cantautore, polistrumentista, produttore discografico e attore statunitense. Nella sua musica si ispira ad artisti come John Lennon , Jimi Hendrix [2] , Elton John [3] e Prince .
Il film racconta la storia di Lenny Bruce, celebre attore e cabarettista che scandalizzò la società americana negli anni Cinquanta per il suo linguaggio estremamente crudo e per il suo atteggiamento di aperta critica alle abitudini e ai pregiudizi degli ambienti tradizionali.
