Abdulaziz bin Abdul Rahman, also known as Ibn Saud, was born on 15 January 1875 in Riyadh. He was the fourth child and third son of Abdul Rahman bin Faisal, one of the last rulers of the Emirate of Nejd, the Second Saudi State, a tribal sheikhdom centered on Riyadh.

Abdulaziz bin Saud Al Saud ( Arabic: عبد العزيز بن سعود آل سعود ʿAbd al ʿAzīz ibn Suʿūd Āl Suʿūd; born 4 November 1983) is a Saudi royal who has been the minister of interior of Saudi Arabia since 21 June 2017.
King Abdulaziz was a leading revolutionary of his day commanding a band of brothers to becoming a mighty nation of great wealth, prosperity and ambition. In 1902 he recaptured his family’s ancestral home, the city of Riyadh, and ambitiously pursued many other parts of the Arabian Peninsular.
King Abdul Aziz Al Saud went on to unify the scattered parts and splintered tribes of the Arabian peninsula. He annexed Al Qasseem in 1904 (1322 H), Al Ahsa in 1913 (1331 H), Asir in 1916 (1334 H) and Hayel in 1921 (1340 H).
