The realm of ends is Kant's ideal of moral community based on universally valid principles and relations of mutual respect. Membership is determined by possession of the basic capacities of reason, which confers the capacity for a good will and a ‘share…in the giving of universal law’ ( G 4: 435).
20 mag 2010 · Kant’s moral philosophy is also based on the idea of autonomy. He holds that there is a single fundamental principle of morality, on which all specific moral duties are based. He calls this moral law (as it is manifested to us) the categorical imperative (see 5.4 ).
