Francis George Baring, 2nd Earl of Northbrook (8 December 1850 – 12 April 1929), styled Viscount Baring from 1876 to 1904, was a British politician.
Francis George Baring, 2nd Earl of Northbrook was born on 8 December 1850 at Florence, Italy. He was the son of Thomas George Baring, 1st Earl of Northbrook and Elizabeth Harriett Sturt. He married, firstly, Ada Ethel Sophie Davidson, daughter of Colonel Cuthbert Davidson, on 26 June 1894.

Francis Baring was the father of Sir Thomas Baring, 2nd Baronet, and grandfather to Francis Baring, 1st Baron Northbrook. He was also father to Alexander Baring, 1st Baron Ashburton, and through his third son Henry Baring the grandfather of Edward Baring, 1st Baron Revelstoke, and Evelyn Baring, 1st Earl of Cromer .
Baron Northbrook, of Stratton in the County of Southampton, is a title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom. It was created in 1866 for the Liberal politician and former Chancellor of the Exchequer, Sir Francis Baring, 3rd Baronet.
