Using Gandhi’s political career as a canvas, the film paints a picture of his intricate, complex, and strained relationship with his son Harilal Gandhi.
As a child, Harilal grew up resenting his absent father, Mahatma Gandhi. As he grows to adulthood, he rebels, intentionally rejecting every tenet of his father’s philosophy, exploiting his family name to bilk the faithful and converting to Islam.
This film explores the strained father-son relationship where Harilal not only had to sacrifice his dreams but infact he had to forfeit even his identity and Kasturba was emotionally torn...
