Brian Faloon is a musician born in Belfast, Northern Ireland. He played drums for Highway Star, who were to become Stiff Little Fingers, having met two of the other band members at Belfast Boys' Model School.
Stiff Little Fingers formed in 1977 in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Their first album, Inflammable Material, made the world aware of The Troubles -- the sectarian civil war happening in Northern Ireland at the time -- and is generally considered to be one of the greatest punk albums of all time.
Prior to becoming Stiff Little Fingers, Jake Burns, vocals and guitar, Henry Cluney, guitar, Gordon Blair, bass, and Brian Faloon, drums, were playing in a rock music cover band, Highway Star, in Belfast.

Stiff Little Fingers were formed in 1977, just as the punk movement was rising in the UK. Frontman Jake Burns' previous band, named Highway Star (which also included SLF members Henry Cluney and Brian Faloon ), had been a rock covers band.
One of their greatest songs, Alternative Ulster, is mostly about being bored. Numerous other punk classics had that very sentiment at their core. Burns was joined by guitarist Henry Cluney, Ali McMordie on bass and drummer Brian Faloon. Stiff Little Fingers, Rockpalast 1980
