  1. Lucky Peterson. Judge Kenneth " Lucky " Peterson (December 13, 1964 [1] – May 17, 2020) was an American musician who played contemporary blues, fusing soul, R&B, gospel and rock and roll. He was a vocalist, guitarist and keyboardist.

  2. Produced by Sam Charters, the majority of the album was recorded in Stockholm in 1977 and was remixed for its 1991 release to highlight Rush's vocals and guitar and Lucky Peterson's keyboard additions.

  3. For the 1991 re-release of these recordings, we went back into the studio to add the keyboards that Otis said he had always wanted on these sides. Lucky Peterson, who is Otis' favorite keyboard player, flew in to "dress up" the songs with piano and organ. Each tune was remixed to bring out the power and delicacy of Otis' voice and guitar.
