Formé à Paris en septembre 1966 par des musiciens de confession juive et originaires du Maroc influencés par les Rolling Stones et les Chaussettes Noires.

Mais pour une France qui peine à sortir de la guerre d’Algérie, le rock n’existe pas. Seuls le Twist et le Yéyé ont droit de cité. Et encore, 1966 marque la fin du plan marketing.

Variations (2) French hard rock band, formed in Paris in 1966. Three of the original four members were Moroccan (Jews). Joe Leb sang vocals, Marc Tobaly played guitar, and Isaac “Jacky” Bitton was on drums. The fourth member, Jacques “Petit Pois” Grande, who played bass, is of Italian heritage.
