Arthur Googy is an American percussionist known for being the drummer of horror punk band The Misfits from 1980 to 1982. Originally from Jackson Heights, New York, he attended Blessed Sacrament elementary school followed by a brisk visit to Newtown High.

Ex-Black Flag drummer Robo took over in time to record Earth A.D. Robo, who had been booted from the Caiafa's home, moved in with Danzig.

22 mag 2024 · By the time they recorded 1982’s Walk Among Us, they had been joined on guitar by Jerry Only’s hulking brother Doyle – aka Paul Caiafa – and drummer Arthur Googy.
Upon their return to the United States the Misfits released the Beware EP in January 1980, then took a four-month break before adding Arthur McGuckin as their new drummer under the pseudonym Arthur Googy.
Arthur McGuckin, nicknamed "The Goog" by the band, joined The Misfits as the drummer in April 1980 and remained until April 1982 (making him the longest running drummer of the bands original era) when he left after an argument with Glenn Danzig.
