Arthur Googy is an American percussionist known for being the drummer of horror punk band The Misfits from 1980 to 1982. Originally from Jackson Heights, New York, he attended Blessed Sacrament elementary school followed by a brisk visit to Newtown High.

Ex-Black Flag drummer Robo took over in time to record Earth A.D. Robo, who had been booted from the Caiafa's home, moved in with Danzig.

Arthur Googy. Arthur McGuckin, nicknamed "The Goog" by the band, joined The Misfits as the drummer in April 1980 and remained until April 1982 (making him the longest running drummer of the bands original era) when he left after an argument with Glenn Danzig .
In Image’s place came drummer Arthur Googy, while Steele’s spot went to Only’s hulking kid brother Paul, who’d become known as the none-more-ripped guitar legend Doyle. By the time the Misfits came together to record Walk Among Us they had generated a great deal of notoriety, if not fame.
