Ilana B. Witten is an American neuroscientist and professor of psychology and neuroscience at Princeton University. Witten studies the mesolimbic pathway, with a focus on the striatal neural circuit mechanisms driving reward learning and decision making.
Ilana Witten is a professor at the Princeton Neuroscience Institute who studies how the brain learns and decides based on rewards. She uses a variety of techniques, such as optogenetics, electrophysiology, and computational modeling, to investigate the striatum and other brain regions.
