Ricker College 1960's. Stretching over 130 years with several names, Houlton Academy, Ricker Classical Institute and Ricker College. This room of the museum is dedicated to this institution and changed the face of Houlton.
6 set 2018 · HOULTON, Maine — Former students of Ricker Classical Institute and Ricker College will converge on Houlton this coming weekend to participate in a celebration of the former school and its founding 170 years ago. Ricker initially was known as Houlton Academy in 1848.

8 apr 2018 · HOULTON, Maine — Plans are underway to celebrate the founding of Ricker Classical Institute and Ricker College, Sept. 7, 8 and 9 in Houlton. Ricker was originally known as Houlton Academy according to an article written by the late David Hunter Cotton, principal and acting president in 1965.
