September 2022 marked a significant moment in the history of both Wellesley House and Haddon Dene, as our schools amalgamated to create a thriving and flourishing independent co-educational day and boarding prep school for children aged 2 to 13, set in our stunning surroundings in Broadstairs.

  6. 6 ott 2021 · Wellesley House School has been bought by Haddon Dene Preparatory School. Both Broadstairs schools now fall under the overarching ownership of Alpha Schools, a UK independent schools group.

  7. We were lucky to discover Wellesley House School, a wonderful, private, co-educational boarding/day prep school in Broadstairs. It is very close to the beach, and dates back to 1866. We love the ‘family feel’ and friendliness of the school and how it has motivated our children.
