Curse of the Golden Flower (Chinese: 满城尽带黄金甲) is a 2006 Chinese epic wuxia drama film written and directed by Zhang Yimou. The Mandarin Chinese title of the movie is taken from the last line of the Qi dynasty poem written by the rebel leader Huang Chao who had revolted against the Tang dynasty.

21 dic 2006 · On th eve of the Chong Yang Festival, golden flowers fill the Imperial Palace. The Emperor (Yun-Fat Chow) returns unexpectedly with his second son, Prince Jai (Jay Chou). His pretext is to celebrate the holdiay with his family, but given the chilled relations between the Emperor and the ailing Empress (Li Gong), this seems disengenuous.
