Prior's Field is an independent girls' boarding and day school in Guildford, Surrey in the south-east of England. Founded in 1902 by Julia Huxley, it stands in 42 acres of parkland, 34 miles south-west of London and adjacent to the A3 road, which runs between the capital and the south coast.

Priors Field School is situated on the north-western outskirts of the historic town of Kenilworth , adjoining open countryside and in close proximity to Kenilworth Castle. The school moved to the present site in 1976 having been opened in 1965 in School Lane.
Prior’s Field offers a distinctive route to high achievement. Set in stunning Surrey parkland, but only 45 minutes from London, this thriving day and boarding school was founded in 1902 and is often recognised today for its large silver unicorn statue which stands proudly at the entrance.
School History. Prior’s Field School was the fulfilment of a dream for Julia Huxley, granddaughter of Dr Thomas Arnold, the reforming headmaster of Rugby School and niece of poet Matthew Arnold. Married to Charterhouse schoolmaster Leonard Huxley, she had long cherished an ambition to open a school of her own.
