Mark Hetfield. Mark Hetfield is the President and CEO of HIAS, the global refugee agency of the American Jewish community. Founded in 1881, HIAS is the oldest organization in the world that is dedicated to refugees, and is one of the nine national refugee resettlement in the United States.
