  2. 1 lug 2020 · On the last day of June 2020, we lost a great Louisville musician to cancer, Matthew "Wink" O'Bannon. Wink was a member of many bands including Blinders, Bodeco, and Eleventh Dream Day, and also worked as a solo artist. He was also known as a punk rock legend in this town.

  5. 14 ott 2021 · Wink O’Bannon has been described as a key architect of the Louisville punk scene in the late ’70s, and was the primal force behind the roots rock act, Bodeco, later joining up with Chicago’s sleeping giant, Eleventh Dream Day.

  6. Mr. O'Bannon is/was one of Louisville's original punks, was in many of the first punk bands in town, and moved on to playing country/bluegrass as a number of this town's older punks do. Wink passed away June 30th 2020 after a battle with cancer.
