McGear is the second and final solo album by English singer Mike McGear, released in 1974. The album is a collaboration between McGear and his brother Paul McCartney, who co-wrote and produced the record. All backing tracks on the album are performed by McCartney and his band Wings, occasionally accompanied by guest artists.
15 ago 2019 · McGear, a 1974 release by Paul McCartney's younger brother, Mike, is out now in an excellent 2-CD, 1-DVD mini box set, and it shouldn't be dismissed as a for-completists-only release. If you're unfamiliar with it, the sound of McGear might best be described as "Mike McCartney and Wings."

18 lug 2019 · Together they made a great team and one terrific Pop record in McGear, Mike bring his own individual sense of fun to add to Wings’ undoubted expertise in the studio. Trussed up a la Gulliver in Lilliput on the cover photo, Mike’s persona and voice are unleashed from the get-go.
