Volga Margaret Hayworth [nb 1] (August 8, 1897 – January 25, 1945) was an American dancer and vaudevillian. A popular showgirl on Broadway, she was the mother of actress Rita Hayworth, who used her mother's maiden name as her professional surname.

Her father, Eduardo Cansino, was a Spanish dancer and vaudeville performer, while her mother, Volga Hayworth, was a dancer of Irish descent who performed in the Ziegfeld Follies. Rita trained at a young age as a dancer with her parents.
Rita's American mother, Volga Margaret (Hayworth), who was of mostly Irish descent, met Eduardo in 1916 and were married the following year. Rita, herself, studied as a dancer in order to follow in her family's footsteps. She joined her family on stage when she was eight years old when her family was filmed in a movie called La Fiesta (1926).
