The Beijing Dance Academy (BDA, Chinese: 北京舞蹈学院) is a municipal public professional dance college at Haidian, Beijing. The academy is the highest institution for dance education and assessment in the People's Republic of China, conducting the nationwide teacher qualification level examinations in Chinese dance.

18 mar 2018 · Founded in 1954 by the country’s communist government, BDA is a fully state-funded professional training school with close to 3,000 students and 275 full-time teachers over four departments (ballet, classical Chinese dance, social dance and musical theater).
The Academy provides BA and MA degrees and has become the only institution of higher learning for professional dance education in China, as well as the largest prestigious dance academy with comprehensive concentrations in the world.

Ninety performances and over 30 activities will be held in Beijing's theaters, such as Tianqiao Performing Arts Center, the National Center for the Performing Arts and the theater of Beijing Dance Academy.
