Bernie Leadon. Bernard Matthew Leadon III (pronounced led-un; born July 19, 1947) [1] is an American singer, musician, songwriter, and founding member of the Eagles, for which he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998.
Strumentista versatile, oltre alla chitarra ha suonato anche il banjo e il mandolino . Alla fine degli anni sessanta Leadon entrò nella band The Continentals in sostituzione di Stephen Stills, che aveva lasciato il gruppo. Con il cambio di formazione la band cambiò anche nome in Maundy Quintet.
