The Joan Rivers Show is an American talk show hosted by comedian Joan Rivers that premiered on September 5, 1989, in broadcast syndication . History. The show aired for five seasons, and ended in December 1993. [1] [2] The show was nominated for numerous Emmy Awards, with Rivers winning the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Talk Show Host in 1990.

In 1986, with her own rival program, The Late Show with Joan Rivers, Rivers became the first woman to host a late night network television talk show. She subsequently hosted The Joan Rivers Show (1989–1993), winning a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Talk Show Host.

Nasce a Brooklyn nel 1933, figlia di Beatrice (1906-1975) e Meyer C. Molinsky (1900-1985), immigrati russi di religione ebraica. Aveva una sorella maggiore, Barbara (1931-2013).
