Woldingham School is an independent boarding and day school for girls, located in the former Marden Park of 700 acres (280 ha) outside the village of Woldingham, Surrey, in South East England. It is a Roman Catholic school and a member of the global Network of Sacred Heart Schools.

Founded by Saint Madeleine Sophie Barat in 1842 as the Convent of the Sacred Heart, Woldingham is one of the oldest girls’ schools in the UK. Initially based in Acton, the school later moved to Roehampton and in 1946 moved to our current home at Marden Park.

Woldingham is set within 700 acres of the most beautiful Surrey countryside providing space to explore, space to roam and space to think. The 19th century main building sits alongside purpose-built science labs, humanities and language hubs, studios for art, drama and music, and a 600-seat auditorium.
With a solid reputation and a desirable location for domestic and international recruitment, Woldingham School is usually over-subscribed for the main entry points at age 11+, 13+ and 16+. It is always beneficial to register early, although the school is willing to consider suitable girls should occasional places become available at other times.
