Heroes Are Hard to Find is the ninth studio album by the British-American rock band Fleetwood Mac, recorded July 1974 and released September 13, 1974. This is the last album recorded with Bob Welch, who left the band at the end of 1974, and who was replaced by Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks.
"Heroes Are Hard To Find" is a transitional song for Fleetwood Mac, the bridge between their blues-rock early years and their staggeringly successful move to mainstream pop. It's the title track to their ninth album, when they had a four-person lineup with Bob Welch on guitar.
