Arik Ben Marshall (born February 13, 1967) is an American guitarist, singer, songwriter, poet, and author, best known as a member of the Red Hot Chili Peppers in 1992-93.

After failed auditions with Zander Schloss, Arik Marshall of Los Angeles band Marshall Law was hired, and the Chili Peppers headlined the Lollapalooza festival in 1992. Marshall also appeared in the music videos for " Breaking the Girl " and " If You Have to Ask ", as well as the Simpsons episode " Krusty Gets Kancelled ".
Arik Marshall was brought in for the remainder of the tour, before Jesse Tobias took his place the following September. Before the end of the month, however, former Jane's Addiction guitarist Dave Navarro – the band's first choice to replace Frusciante – had finally agreed to join the group.

Arik Ben Marshall was the guitarist for the Red Hot Chili Peppers during a short period of time between 1992 and 1993, replacing John Frusciante to complete the Blood Sugar Sex Magik Tour. He was replaced by Jesse Tobias.
