19 dic 2021 · Terry Uttley, founder member of Bradford band Smokie, has died at the age of 70. Bandmates paid tribute to the bassist, calling him a dear friend, a loving father and an "incredible person and musician." Uttley was a founder member of Smokie in 1964.
Sadly Terence Uttley passed away in December 2021 Terry was one of the founder members of the band SMOKIE back in the 1970s. Terry was a pupil at St. Bede's School in Bradford when the group was first formed and remained as the 'daddy' of the band throughout the decades.
