Louisa Burnaby married the Rev. Charles Cavendish-Bentinck, as his second wife, on 13 December 1859. Rev. Cavendish-Bentinck was the elder son of Lieutenant Colonel Lord Charles Bentinck and Anne Wellesley, formerly Lady Abdy.

Sir Charles Cavendish, third son of Sir William Cavendish of Chatsworth (Derbyshire), acquired Welbeck (Nottinghamshire) in 1598 and Bolsover (Derbyshire) in 1608, both from the Talbot family. His second wife, Catherine, Baroness Ogle, brought the Bothal (Northumberland) estates.
