16 apr 2023 · Sakamoto took on the role of producer for Virginia’s 1986 album Hope In A Darkened Heart, which was recorded at Wool Hall, Somerset and AIR Studios, London. He also co-wrote the track ‘Some Small Hope’, which saw Virginia duetting with David Sylvian. Sakamoto performed and recorded the base instrumentals for all six of the main tracks on the album.
