The St Lawrence Academy (formerly High Ridge School) is a coeducational Church of England secondary school with academy status, in Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire, England. The Academy teaches GCSEs and BTECs, and has specialisms in sports and science.
We currently have 801 students on roll, with a pupil admission number (PAN) of 165 per year group. Matt Hire is our Headteacher who runs the academy on a daily basis alongside the Senior Leadership Team who all are proactively working with staff to transform the opportunities for the students.
The St Lawrence Academy is a small academy for 11-16 year old boys and girls of all abilities. We strive to be an outstanding academy meeting the needs of all our learners in an inclusive, caring environment. We are sponsored by the Church of England Diocese of Lincoln with a strong Christian ethos.
