Académie de La Palette, also called Académie La Palette and La Palette, (English: Palette Academy), was a private art school in Paris, France, active between 1888 and 1925, aimed at promoting 'conciliation entre la liberté et le respect de la tradition'.

founding the Zvantseva School of Drawing and Painting. Elizaveta Nikolaevna Zvantseva (Russian: Елизавета Николаевна Званцева 18 November 1864 OS /30 November 1864 (N. S.)–22 August 1921) was a Russian painter and art instructor who founded "the most progressive art school in pre-1917 Russia".
Enrolled at the Zvantseva School of drawing and painting, as student of Leo Bakst. He made the acquaintance of Bella (Berta) Rosenfeld. 1911-1914 On a scholarship offered by Max Vinaver, in May 1911 Chagall went to Paris to study. He settled at La Ruche, and entered the circle of avant-garde painters and poets.

He developed friendships with ringleaders such as Robert Delaunay and enrolled at the Académie de la Palette, one of the progressive art schools that were popping up all over the city at that time.
