Live at Chelmsford Top Security Prison is a live album by Sex Pistols, released in 1990. It was recorded on 17 September 1976 at the Chelmsford Prison, before Glen Matlock left the band. The recording featured many non-Sex Pistols overdubs and insertions arranged by the band's early soundman Dave Goodman.
One notable exception happens to come from an exceptional gig, when the Sex Pistols followed Johnny Cash’s example and played the Chelmsford Top Security Prison during their first major tour of England in 1976 for an audience of 500 prisoners.

17 apr 2020 · There was a lot of mystery surrounding this gig in the years that followed and, when it was released as a live album titled Live at Chelmsford Top Security Prison in 1990, the material largely contained sound that wasn’t from the show—a factor which fabricated how wild the show actually was.
