Emmanouil Benakis (1843-1929) was a Greek businessman and politician. He was a close friend of the Prime Minister Eleftherios Venizelos, perhaps the single most important figure in Modern Greek history.

11 ott 2021 · Resta poco meno di un mese per visitare la mostra “1821. Prima e dopo” allestita nel nuovo edificio “Pireo 138” (è l’indirizzo ad Atene) del Museo Benaki. Già per l’architettura il nuovo centro, dotato di una libreria e di una bella caffetteria, merita una visita.
