After the death of her older sister Adelajda (1677) Teresa remained the only daughter of the Sobieskis, who called her affectionately “Pupusieńka”.

Thérèse-Cunégonde Sobieska, nata il 4 marzo 1676 e morì il 10 marzo 1730, è il secondo figlio di Jean III Sobieski, re di Polonia, e Marie-Casimire-Louise de La Grange d'Arquien. Fu reggente del governo dell'elettore bavarese per 7 mesi nel 1704/1705 e divenne l'unica donna a guidare l'elettorato bavarese.
