  4. Sound Quality: 7. Karita Mattila is such an intelligent singer that it’s a pity not to be able to recommend this disc more enthusiastically. She’s at her very best at the opening, in Sibelius’ atmospheric song Höstkväll (Fall Evening), where she is absolutely at one with the text and with the brooding mood of the piece.
