Christ's Hospital is a public school (English fee-charging boarding school for pupils aged 11–18) with a royal charter, located to the south of Horsham in West Sussex. The school was founded in 1552 and the royal charter granted in 1553 (26 June, 7 Edw. VI).

6 dic 2022 · Christ’s Hospital wasn’t a medical institution but rather a school, founded in 1552 by King Edward VI. Thanks to his father’s dissolution of the monasteries, London had lost a considerable proportion of the 16th century welfare state.
With extensive permanent and changing display areas, research and family history facilities, Christ’s Hospital Museum offers a rich and diverse resource, welcoming the Christ’s Hospital school community, “Old Blues” and hundreds of visitors and enquirers each year.
