The Story of Two Women (Korean: 두 여자 이야기; RR: Duyeoja iyagi) is a 1994 South Korean film directed by Lee Jung-gook. It was awarded Best Film at the Grand Bell Awards ceremony. Other awards won by the film included Best New Director for Lee, Best Screenplay and Best New Actress for Yoon Yoo-sun.

Plot. Cesira (Loren) is a widowed shopkeeper, raising her devoutly religious twelve-year-old daughter, Rosetta (Brown), in Rome during World War II. Following the bombing of Rome, mother and daughter flee to Cesira's native Ciociaria, a rural, mountainous province of central Italy.
In this film, Lee tries to depict the lives of Korean women who lived form 1953, when the Korean Conflict had just ended, until the 1970s Their lives were so difficult that it is worthwhile to review them by film.
