Ernesto I di Baden-Durlach (Pforzheim, 7 ottobre 1482 – Sulzburg, 6 febbraio 1553) fu il fondatore della cosiddetta "linea ernestina" del casato di Baden, dalla quale discesero i futuri granduchi. Fu il margravio di Baden-Pforzheim dal 1533 e risiedette a Pforzheim dal 1537.
Ernesto Federico di Baden-Durlach (Durlach, 17 ottobre 1560 – Remchingen, 14 aprile 1604) è stato Margravio di Baden Durlach.
Nel 1594 Ernesto Federico di Baden-Durlach occupa il Baden-Baden, facendosene nominare amministratore; alla sua morte, nel 1604, gli succede il fratello Giorgio Federico, che nel 1621 rinuncia al governo del Baden-Baden, restituendolo al primogenito di Edoardo Fortunato, Guglielmo.

Ernest Frederick of Baden-Durlach (born 17 October 1560 in Durlach – died 14 April 1604 in Remchingen) ruled the northern part of the Margraviate of Baden-Durlach. He came to power when he came of age in 1584. He founded the first Gymnasium Illustrie in the margraviate.
The Margraviate of Baden-Durlach encompassed an area on the middle Upper Rhine around the cities of Pforzheim and Durlach, as well as the Margraviate of Hachberg around Emmendingen, and an area known as Markgräflerland in the southern part of the Upper Rhine region, between Müllheim and Lörrach .
