Jizzy Pearl (born James Wilkinson, March 17, 1958) is an American hard rock and heavy metal singer. He first fronted the band Data Clan, which eventually became Love/Hate. Pearl has also sung for L.A. Guns, Ratt, Adler's Appetite, Quiet Riot and other, lesser known acts.

During the late 1980s, Pearl sang for Love/Hate, and they achieved notoriety for performances as the house band at the Whisky a Go Go in Hollywood. Pearl known for his “gritty-sounding blues-influenced” vocals, has also sung for L.A. Guns, Ratt, Adler’s Appetite, Quiet Riot amongst others.
Last Wednesday, Metal Planet Music and myself were afforded a wonderful opportunity to talk to Jizzy Pearl, the lead singer of famed LA band Love/Hate and the current vocalist of Quiet Riot.
Raised during the 80’s debauchery on the Sunset Strip and still going strong in 2022, JIZZY PEARL’S LOVE/HATE recently released their third single titled ‘Gonna Take You Higher’ on all digital platforms.
As someone who thought that Love/Hate’s 1990 debut ‘Blackout in the Red Room’ was one of the best and most intriguing releases to come out of L.A. in the late eighties/early nineties and had a sound far more diverse and ground-breaking than the likes of Nirvana it’s great to hear new music from singer Jizzy Pearl.
