Moreton Hall is a private boarding and day school for girls aged 6 months to 18 and boys aged 6 months to 13, situated in North Shropshire four miles from the market town of Oswestry. Founded in 1913, Moreton Hall celebrated its centenary in 2012/13.
Our first international students joined us over 25 years ago. At Moreton, we feel privileged to have the opportunity to open our doors to all our students and truly follow the path of academic, pastoral and cultural immersion within our traditional yet dynamic Shropshire boarding school.
With a history of welcoming international families since the 1950’s and set amongst the backdrop of 100 acres of beautiful grounds and with outstanding facilities such as our very own theatre, a Moreton Hall Summer experience is one that is truly unforgettable.
The school offers IELTS lessons and prepares students for Cambridge exams (KET, PET, FCE, CAE). Moreton Hall’s International Study Centre (ISC) prepares students for entry to the UK’s top boarding schools, giving them a genuine boarding school experience.
