  3. Magdalen College School (MCS) is a private day school in the English public school tradition located in Oxford, England, for boys aged seven to eighteen and for girls in the sixth form (i.e. ages sixteen to eighteen).

  4. Magdalen is currently home to around 400 undergraduate students, 200 graduate students, lots of friendly Fellows and staff, and a herd of deer. That might sound a lot, but the brilliant thing about having such a large College is that there is plenty of space for everyone.

  5. Magdalen College School produced some of the best grammar masters of the 16th century, who were pioneers of Latin textbook teaching. In 1491, the 16 Choristers on the foundation of the college received their elementary education in the Song School, from the Informator Choristarum.

  6. Magdalen College was founded in 1458 by William Waynflete, Bishop of Winchester, and Lord Chancellor. It is one of the oldest, largest, and most beautiful colleges in Oxford.
