Kathryn Grayson (born Zelma Kathryn Elisabeth Hedrick; February 9, 1922 – February 17, 2010) was an American actress and coloratura soprano. From the age of 12, Grayson trained as an opera singer. She was under contract to Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer by the early 1940s, soon establishing a career principally through her work in musicals.
Kathryn Grayson was a coloratura soprano actress who starred in musicals such as Show Boat and Kiss Me Kate. She was born in 1922, died in 2010, and won one award for her performance in The Vagabond King.
