Jack Snowdon Hawkins (28 October 1929 – 11 December 2021), better known as Jack Hedley, was an English film, voice, radio, stage, character, theatre, screen and television actor best known for his performances on television.

Jack Hedley. Actor: The New York Ripper. A robust, intense, arch British actor with pronounced military bearing, he began life as Jack Snowdon Hawkins. After leaving school, Jack attended the Royal Naval College at Dartmouth, graduated and then served for eight years as a marine commando.
