Reginald Ingram Montgomery Hitchcock, meglio conosciuto come Rex Ingram o come Rex Hitchcock (Dublino, 15 gennaio 1892 – Los Angeles, 21 luglio 1950), è stato un regista, sceneggiatore, produttore cinematografico e attore irlandese naturalizzato statunitense.
He was in the original cast of Haiti (1938), Cabin in the Sky (1940), and St. Louis Woman (1946). He is one of the few actors to have played both God (in The Green Pastures) and the Devil (in Cabin in the Sky). In 1966 he played Tee-Tot in the movie Your Cheatin' Heart.
Rex Ingram was a versatile actor who appeared in silent and sound films, Broadway and TV shows, and had a medical degree. He is best known for his roles in The Green Pastures, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, and The Thief of Bagdad.

Rex Ingram was a renowned director, actor and writer who worked in Hollywood and France. He directed classics such as The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, The Magician and Ben-Hur: A Tale of the Christ, and was married to actress Alice Terry.
