Biografia. Attivo dal 1966 al 1981 si è conquistato il ruolo di più celebre stuntman motociclista statunitense. Fra le sue imprese più famose è da ricordare il tentativo di saltare le cascate Shoshone nello Snake River Canyon in Idaho l'8 settembre 1974, evento sportivo che figura fra i più seguiti di ogni tempo.
Robert Craig Knievel (October 17, 1938 – November 30, 2007), known professionally as Evel Knievel (/ ˈ iː v ə l k ə ˈ n iː v ə l /), was an American stunt performer and entertainer. Throughout his career, he attempted more than 75 ramp-to-ramp motorcycle jumps. Knievel was inducted into the Motorcycle Hall of Fame in 1999.
