Charl Adriaan Schwartzel (/ ʃ ɑːr l ˈ ʃ w ɔːr t s əl / sharl SHWORT-səl; born 31 August 1984) is a South African professional golfer who currently plays in the LIV Golf Invitational Series and has previously played on the PGA Tour, European Tour and the Sunshine Tour.

Charl Schwartzel is making his 15th Masters appearance. In 2011 at Augusta National, he was four strokes off the lead entering the final round and closed with second-nine birdies at hole Nos. 15, 16, 17 and 18 to win by two over Jason Day and Adam Scott.
