Brodie Allan Retallick (born 31 May 1991) is a New Zealand rugby union footballer, who currently plays as a lock for Kobelco Kobe Steelers in the Japan Rugby League One competition. He previously played for the Chiefs in Super Rugby and Hawke's Bay in New Zealand's domestic National Provincial Championship.
Although he’s been a giant for the Chiefs and Hawkes Bay, Brodie Retallick has saved his most impressive performances for the All Blacks. Ever since he made his debut for the side in 2012, he’s been a regular starter. During this time, he’s won the Rugby World Cup in 2015 and was named as the World Rugby Player of the Year in 2014.
BRODIE RETALLICK has cemented his status as a world-class lock with a high work rate and uncompromising attitude, as well as his confidence in performing the lock’s core role. The 2014 World Rugby and New Zealand Player of the Year is a first-choice selection for both the Chiefs and the All Blacks.
