Steinmetz (25), who has 31 caps for the Football Ferns, has been a key player in the club’s late charge for the title, which they won with a last-round 1-1 draw with title rivals IF Brøndby.

28 apr 2024 · New Zealand international Malia Steinmetz is close to a place in the final of Denmark’s Gjensidige Women’s Cup after scoring for her FC Nordsjælland club in the first leg of their two-legged semi-final. FC Nordsjælland beat Næstved HG 7-0 in the home leg at Right to Dream Park, in Farum.
