George Washington Rogers Jr. (born December 8, 1958) is an American former football running back who played in the National Football League (NFL) for seven seasons from 1981 to 1987. He played college football for the South Carolina Gamecocks, earned All-American honors, and won the 1980 Heisman Trophy.

In four years, he scored 202 points. He returned 12 kickoffs for an average of 28.3 yards. In his last two years South Carolina had a 16-6 record and was in the 1979 Hall of Fame Bowl and 1980 Gator Bowl. Rogers was named Most Valuable Player in the 1979 Hall of Fame Bowl.
